LETTER OF APPRECIATION.
My family, friends, and I, both Ghana-based and abroad have seen the many social interventions, economic management and the commitment you have shown to our beloved Tain District.
Through your hard work, Tain district can now boast of better Schools, health centres, roads, telephone networks, potable water, etc, just to mention only a few.
You have, amongst these, helped our youth in securing recruitment into some security services positions such as fire and the police services.
I write today, not only as a witness to these tremendous achievements but also as both direct and indirect beneficiary of your good works.
At least my late grannies, Joseph Akwasi Amankwaa, first member of Parliament, Wenchi West now Tain and Banda constituencies, Prof.Bamme, Opanyin Kwaku Tawiah, Isaac, Nana Kwadwo Serbeh, S.Y Badu, Opanyin Kwame Obuor, Opanyin Okra et-al, can now have something to tell in the ancestral world that Tain is back on track.
Their wishes for Tain District were long over due until 2004 when President John Kufuor Agyekum gave us one.
You have been an outstanding DCE, as compared to your predecessors, though during their time things weren’t easy to come by as such.
As the first female DCE of this District, and for your ability in championing for a Municipality, I will wish the good God touches the heart of the decision makers to make your dreams come into reality.
I must confess that before today, you were not in my white books because of the wayside stories and allegations that I heard from your detractors. Yet upon adding things up and taking others out, it has emerged that everything said about you was fallacious.
Your level of maturity in handling matters in the District has brought us peace, both political and social. You are indeed the number one lady in the district, the only representative of the President of the republic.
We can only say God bless you and also broaden your boarders to bring on-board more developments in the District.
