Dr. Donkor gives street light bulbs and office equipment to OTMA, Traditional council

Dr. Serwaa Donkor, a philanthropist and a native of Tafo Pankrono has made some donations to the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly and the Tafo Traditional Council.

The items donated included street light bulbs and chokes, for the Assembly to help them lighten up the streets; and laptop computer, printer and a cabinet for the Traditional Council to improve upon their documentation.

According to her, the gesture forms part of her philanthropist works to support her people.

Speaking to the media after the presentation at the Tafo Palace, Dr. Donkor stayed that the street light bulbs will help improve visibility in the municipality at night and help to improve upon the security situation.

She indicated, that her people’s concerns are equally hers, so it s her responsibility to assist in any small way to address them.

A short durbar of the chiefs and people of Tafo including some Assembly members and members of the NPP led by the Constituency Chairman, was held at the Tafo Chief’s Palace under the auspices of the Chief of the Tafo traditional council Nana Agyin Frimpong to receive the presentation.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Traditional Council and the Assembly, Nana Agyin Frimpong, thanked Dr. Serwaa Frimpong for the donation. Nana also used the opportunity to call on the Assembly to do the needful for the betterment of the municipality.

It is the belief of Nana, that whatever Dr. Donkor aspires to achieve , particularly at the Tafo Constituency shall surely come to pass, for she has made the light to shine in the area, which according to Nana, is highly commendable.

Some of the Assembly members who spoke to TVNEWSGH.COM expressed their gratitude to Ms. Donkor for the kind gesture.
