CSE controversy : Nana Akufo-Addo breaks silence

The President Nana Akufo Addo has cleared the doubts on the minds of Ghanaians on the controversial comprehensive sexuality education brouhaha.

Speaking at the St. Cyprians Anglican Church in Kumasi on Sunday, the President told the Ghanaian populace to gnome those probating lies over the issue, saying his government will not do anything to undermine Ghanaians.

“Comprehensive Sexuality Education is not in the curriculum as some people want Ghanaians to believe, saying, I am a Ghanaian, I have children, I have grandchildren to be taught about our values “.

“ I am a Christian and against anything homosexuality as all the Christians, Muslims and traditionalists are against it” Nana told the congregation.

He assured that his government will not implement any policy that will help the citizenry.

President Akufo Addo assured Ghanaians of his Commitment towards developing the country through proper and cultured education.

He later met with the Muslim communities on the same issue to reiterate the statement he made at the St. Cyprians Anglican Church and also met the Christian Council on the issues that has generated controversy in the country.
