The Second Vice Chairman for Suame Constituency of New Patriotic Party, (NPP), Mr Richard Asante, has identified the act of kissing as a factor who keeps spreading coronavirus in the country.

According to him, kissing gives a direct infection of the virus.

Speaking to a section of the media, Mr Asante, noted that the mix of saliva from the mouth of both male and females, undeniably leads to infection if one of them has the virus.

According to him, the fight against the deadly disease will be lost if men continue to cultivate the habit of kissing ladies without knowing thief health status with respect to covid-19.

The adherence of protocols, he said will be waste of time, if after wearing a nose mask for sometime and remove to kiss someone who carries the virus.

According to him, the act of kissing has escalated the infections especially among high profiled personalities including parliamentarians

Mr Asante therefore advised Ghanaians to avoid kissing their partners during any sexual act to help prevent the,spread of covid-19 in the country.
