Bekwai MCE breaks grounds to construct 3- unit classroom blocks for Sarfokrom and Akyeremade

The Municipal Chief Executive for Bekwai Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour has today cut sod for construction of 3 unit classroom blocks with ancillary facilities at Akyeremade and Sarfokrom.

The hardworking MCE was assisted by the Bekwai Constituency Chairman of NPP Mr. Adu Gyamfi Patrick, a representative of the Municipal Education Director Mr. Ocloo Godson, PRO of G.E.S Bekwai, Chiefs and people of Akyeremade.

This initiative form part of the government commitment to provide enabling environment to all the pupils in basic schools nationwide.

Addressing the media, the municipal chief executive Hon. Kyei Baffour stated the government of Ghana under the leadership of His.Excellence Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo is poised to ensure that every child of this country should be able to acquire knowledge and the best way to achieve this objective is to provide infrastructure for all the students in this country irrespective of where these students find themselves.

The MCE reiterated the President’s commitment towards providing quality education for all Ghanaians by providing needed infrastructure, logistics and motivation.

He said Free SHS has come to stay and every Ghanaian need to protect it by supporting the President and the NPP with their votes.

On his side, Mr. Ocloo Godson who represented the Municipal Director of Education in his speech advised parents to support their wards education.

He said “we as stakeholders in Education sector we all have a role to play if we want a brighter future for our feature generations”

He therefore advised the good people of this country to support the government commitment to fix all deplorable classroom blocks in the country. In conclusion he advised the beneficiaries of the two projects to take very good care of the projects after its completion.
